TEETH WHITENING

Your teeth can become discolored by stains on the surface or by changes in the tooth material. There are three main types of tooth discoloration: on the outer surfaces, inner surfaces and and due to age. Teeth Whitening also is known as bleaching lightens teeth and helps to remove stains and Teeth whitening also is known as bleaching lightens teeth and helps to remove stains and discoloration.


Bleaching is a simple, painless way to make your teeth whiter. Although teeth is very hard, but the outer layer, the enamel has microscopic pores that discolor over time, from smoking and food colorings. Sometimes discoloration can occur during early tooth formation from antibiotics and fluoride consumption.

DENTAL VENEERS / LAMINATES

Laminates or veneers are thin plates of ceramic that are used to shape a beautiful smile. We provide Veneers or dental laminates for all those patients who want to mask tooth stains, conceal gaps or make crooked look straight. Dental veneers are very-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. Dental veneers are made from porcelain or resin composite materials. Porcelain veneers resist stains better than resin veneers and better mimic the light reflecting properties of natural teeth. The color of a porcelain veneer can be selected such that it makes dark teeth appear whiter.

TYPES OF STAINS

Stains are caused by:
• Food.
• Tea
• Coffee
• Cigarettes
• Pan masala
• Tobacco products
• Spicy food containing lots of red chilies and turmeric

Since these stains are of exogenous origin, they can be removed by bleaching. stains are caused by nature. Common factors responsible for intrinsic staining include drinking of water with high fluoride content, injury to the tooth and food habits. Bleaching does effect these stains too but the effect varies depending on the severity.

TREATMENT

Scaling Bleaching tray will be given to keep in your mouth. Place small drop of gel in tray at each tooth site. Seat tray completely and firmly onto teeth Wipe off excess gel with toothbrush Trays are to be worn overnight. When trays are removed, rinse with cool water and remove residual material and store in case. Keep your trays out of the sunlight and heat. Brush and rinse remaining gel from teeth after Bleaching. Repeat the bleaching process for 2~3 weeks.
